It's Been a While . . .

I've been so busy . . . pulled in so many different directions . . . mostly of my own doing . . . that I've fallen behind on updating this site. Never fear, I'm back! :)

We've made it through the holidays, and now it's time to get productive! A new "semester" is starting at Rock U, and we'd love to help people learn to use those musical instruments that Santa brought! Shoot us an email or give us a call to get enrolled!

Rock U welcomes Mr. Keaton Shumard to the staff! Chris Tutza has graduated from EIU, and Keaton has taken his place as our trumpet instructor. We're happy to have another EIU Music Major on staff.

Two big news items from December. First, the Rock U Recording Studio is now officially open for business! The Eagles Wings quartet is our first client, and after recording one song, they are completely pumped! Discussions of recording up to three albums' worth of material is already underway. If you would like to do some recording, contact us as soon as possible. With the crazy schedule around here, recording slots are limited.

And last, but certainly not least, we are opening a second Rock U location in Tuscola on February 1. The Vault Art Gallery is located downtown Tuscola in a former bank building. Rock U will be on the second floor, in the southwest corner. As students enroll, we plan to expand into more open rooms. Mark your calendars for our Grand Opening Event on February 10 from 3-5 pm. There will be an art showing, a CrossBorn concert, demos from some of our instructors, and maybe even some giveaways!
